We began our amazing Europe trip in Amsterdam. It cost us less to fly from Guadalajara, Mexico to Amsterdam, Netherlands than anywhere else in Europe, except for one place in Germany. But the
rental car cost us less in Amsterdam, so we flew there to begin. Our route went through the Rhine River area of Germany, to Lucerne, the alps and Bern in Switzerland, then a quick change of plans to head to the French
Alps (where we got stuck in the snow) before continuing to Geneva, Switzerland, and then into France. In France, we stayed in Lyon, Paris,
and Rouen, before heading back north through Brugge, Belgium to Amsterdam and heading home. On the following pages are one hundred photos of the more than 3,800 photos we took during our eighteen days in Europe, along
with some explanation of some of the photos. For a more complete story of our trip, check out Dave's Weekly Log for 8 January 2010. Happy surfing!
