Ballet Folklorico

We attended the University of Guadalajara's performance of the Ballet Folklorico on Sunday, July 19, 2009.  It was the first time we had been inside the Teatro Degollado.  The Teatro Degollado is an elegant theater and a fun place in which to watch the Ballet Folklorico.

We both enjoyed watching the dancers and listening to the music.  The Ballet Folklorico is a showcase of the folk music and folk dances of Mexico.  The Ballet Folklorico usually shows each year in July and August.
