People sometimes ask us what we do with all our free time here in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. I'll place a few things now and then on this page to show you. It still
amazes me that even though our life is a slower paced life than ever I've enjoyed, we still have full days. |

Mundo Bilingue, the Language School where Andrew and I teach is close enough that we can ride our little scooter there.
Driving the car takes about twelve minutes, and the scooter takes about eighteen minutes. When we go in at the same time, we drive in together, of course. When Andrew works later than our
training runs, we put the scooter into the back seat of the car so he can ride it back home. |

Of course, we'll be adding more photos here later, also. Please check back again. If you'd like to be notified when we update this page, drop us an email to let us know which pages you want to hear about. Thanks. |

Andrew teaches at a nearby Language school, as a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) teacher. I have trained for this, as well, at the same school, and one of these
days I might actually be given a class. One day after our training, Andrew paid his twenty pesos (about $1.50 US) to jump on this bungee and trampoline for five minutes. By the end of that time,
he was worn out, the combination jumping and holding with arms being quite a good workout. |

As we add to this page, remember that some of the things we do have their own pages elsewhere in the website. We are beginning to visit some of the Guadalajara museums, since
Mexico offers free admission to many of their museums on Sundays. Here are three photos from the Regional Museum of Guadalajara, located downtown just across the street from the Zocalo (large central
public square) and Catedral (Cathedral). Andrew invited his friend Jacob from Tlaquepaque, and we three had great fun both at the museum and afterwards watching the kids play with bubbles in the
Plaza de la Liberación. |
