When Mela saw the horse pulling these guys, she
got all excited and wanted to meet him, but the
horse was very shy of little ol' her.

I was pleased that there wasn't much trash left
in the street after the gay pride parade passed.
What little there was was quickly removed.

On June 19, 2010,
we attended the Gay Pride Parade in
Guadalajara, also known as "Marcha de la
Diversidad" with a few of our friends from
our welcoming church, St. Mark's Anglican
(Episcopal) Church. Here are a
few of our photos.

As you can imagine, traffic was held up
on Avenida Hidalgo because of the Marcha de
la Diversidad (March of Diversity, aka, Gay
Pride Parade). There were seven
electric busses that had queued up while
waiting. |
