Andrew and Dave continue the search for a home, a place to call our own.

On Saturday, August 8, 2009, we drove again into the mountains south of Guadalajara to view properties there.  We saw this one just ten minutes south of Mazamitla and liked it right away.  We're not saying that this is where we'll end up living, but it is one place we are seriously considering.

Update:
As of the end of 2009, we still had not purchased this house, though we still want to.  The owner raised her asking price from $700,000 pesos to $900,000 pesos.  Our offer was not even as much as her original asking price.  Needless to say, she has still not accepted our offer.
