Old town Lyon, France is a wonderful, interesting city. Overlooking the city from up by the cathedral is wonderful. Then we walked a bit south to the ancient Roman
theater. The tunnels through old town are also interesting, though we found very few to be open during our trip.
It is interesting the different kinds of keys that are used around the world. Dave likes keys so much that he even created a GeoCachingTravel Bug just for keys.
Our CouchSurfing hosts gave us the run of their house and even lent us their keys, so that we could come and go as we needed. This is not something that all hosts will do, and as you can imagine, it takes an extreme amount of trust for them to do this.
Dinner is always an enjoyable part of the day. We love it when our CS hosts invite us to join them for their meals. We love tasting different foods from various areas of
the world.
Cheese very frequently follows dinner, a wonderful European tradition.
